Samuel ROZE

VP of Engineering at Birdie

Samuel Roze is the current VP of Engineering at Birdie. Prior to this, they were the Technical Lead in Residence at Kamet, where they supported a dozen of ventures in many ways, from coaching entrepreneurs about how to interact with software engineering teams to working with technical leaders to refine their strategy for faster value and long-term benefits. Samuel was also responsible for pairing with engineers to solve complicated problems.

Before their time at Kamet, Roze was the Technical Leader for ContinuousPipe.io at Inviqa. Samuel pitched and got resources from the web agency to work on the project, which is a continuous deployment pipeline for software engineers based on Kubernetes. With a team, they iterated on the product to onboard internal & external customers. The platform was considered "game-changer" by software teams but they struggled to find market traction with a limited sales & marketing budget.

Roze began their career as the CTO of La Coopérative des Tilleuls in September 2013. During their time there, they learnt a lot about the joy of distributed systems and event sourcing at practice and product-market-fit.

Samuel ROZE's educational career includes a Licence Informatique en alternance from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers and a DUT en alternance from the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France.

Their manager is Max Parmentier, CEO. They are on a team with Rajiv Tanna - CPO & Cofounder, Jack Hanratty - VP, Sales, and Judy Boniface-Chang - VP of Marketing.
