Bianca Gates started their career in 2000 as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Johnson & Johnson. Bianca then moved to NBC News in 2001 as an Account Executive. In 2005, they joined Viacom as an Account Executive and worked there for six years. Bianca Gates then moved to Facebook in 2011, where they worked as US Retail and Global Marketing Solutions for six years.

In 2017, Bianca Gates co-founded Birdies, a retail company that sells products online and through brick-and-mortar stores. Under their leadership, the company has become one of the fastest-growing retailers in the United States.
