Alan K. Lee

Alan Lee is currently the Science and Innovation Programme Manager at BirdLife South Africa. Alan is also the owner of Blue Hill Escape, where Alan takes on roles such as marketing, volunteer management, and area management. With a background in zoology, botany, and environmental science, Alan has worked in various conservation and research roles, including conducting a conservation assessment of birds in the Karoo biome and overseeing research in Peru for their PhD. Alan holds a PhD in Environmental and Geography Science from Manchester Metropolitan University.
