Summer Averill

Summer Averill is a Senior Scientist - Formulation Manager at Birko, A Diversey Company, where Summer develops cleaning formulations for the food and beverage industry and optimizes new raw materials for cost and performance. Prior to this, Summer worked as an Associate Research Scientist at Seventh Generation and as an Associate Guru Chemist at Autumn Harp. Summer also gained experience as an intern at Seventh Generation, formulating home good products. Summer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Vermont and has international research experience as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität Graz.
