Stephanie Ryding

Stephanie Ryding is an experienced professional in the field of intellectual property and commercialization, currently serving as the IP Business Development Manager at the University of Birmingham Enterprise since April 2022. Previously, Stephanie held the position of Commercialisation Executive at UMIP from December 2017 to September 2019, where responsibilities included evaluating invention disclosures and managing the protection of intellectual property. Prior experience also includes serving as a Licensing Analyst at North Carolina State University, overseeing marketing and invention assessment for the Engineering licensing team, and working as a Research Scientist at Huntsman Polyurethane, focusing on developing polyurethane formulations. Stephanie Ryding earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Manchester.
