Matt Majedi

Chief Enterprise Architect at Birmingham City University

Matt Majedi has a diverse work experience in various technical and architectural roles. Matt started their career as a System Developer at Technology Innovation Centre in 2006. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a System Analyst and later as a Principal Analyst at Birmingham City University. During this time, they also designed and implemented an Enterprise Service Bus and a web-based single sign-on system. In 2015, they joined Police Mutual as a Solution & Integration Architect, where they were responsible for designing and implementing an integration platform. In 2016, they returned to Birmingham City University as a Technical Architect, and later served as the Chief Technical Architect and Chief Enterprise Architect, where they developed and implemented the EA framework for the organization and played a key role in transformational programs such as Cloud migration and data center development.

Matt Majedi has a PhD in Information Systems from Capella University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Before that, they completed their Master's degree in Software Engineering from Birmingham City University, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Prior to their Master's, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the same institution from 2002 to 2003. Matt'sundergraduate studies were carried out at Kazakh-American University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including ITIL Foundation Level 4.0, TOGAF, Archimate, BizTalk 2009 and WCF, C# 5 New Features, Creating N-Tier Applications in C#, Part 1, and Java Fundamentals, Part 1.
