McWilliams, MA, SCL, LPC, NCC, is a dedicated counselor with extensive experience working with high school students at Birmingham Public Schools since August 2017, providing support for academic, emotional, and social challenges. Additionally, Nicole serves as a certified safeTALK trainer, promoting suicide awareness and prevention primarily in educational settings. With a background in individual and family therapy at Healing Hearts & Minds Center for Counseling, LLC, and previous counseling roles at Holly Area Schools and Troy School District, Nicole has developed strong skills in crisis intervention and therapy. Nicole's educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling and specialized training in School Counseling and Child & Adolescent Counseling from Oakland University.

Birmingham Public Schools serves more than 8,300 students in Birmingham, Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms, Franklin and parts of five other suburban communities north of Detroit, Mich., where we inspire all learners to positively impact their world.
