Miriam Denard Mpa

Miriam Denard, MPA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program development and management. Currently serving as the Early College and Persistence Counselor at Charles R Drew Charter School since July 2020, Denard has also held the position of Director of Programs at ThrdSpace Consulting since January 2014, where responsibilities include developing engaging programs, setting goals, and managing community engagement. Previous roles encompass positions such as Graduate Assistant at Georgia State University Perimeter College, Chief of Staff/Events Manager at First Congregational Church-UCC, Youth Development Professional/Branch Director at Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Monica, Music Supervisor for Independent Music Supervision, and various roles at CNN, including Program Manager and Video Journalist. Denard holds a Bachelor's degree in Afro-American Studies and Ethnomusicology from UCLA and a Master's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Georgia State University.
