Anthony Hambey

VP of Information Technology at Birmingham Southern College

Anthony Hambey is the current Vice President of Information Technology at Birmingham Southern College. Anthony has been in this role since June of 2003, and has been instrumental in leading the technology departments and budgeting for future technology initiatives. Anthony has a long history of working in information technology, dating back to their time as Associate Vice President for Information Technology at Birmingham-Southern College from June 2003 to November 2006. In this role, they were responsible for leading all technology departments and managing budgets and resources. Anthony has also coordinated with other divisions of the administration in the use of technology and formed alliances with key campus constituents to make sure that all Information Technology efforts are in line with the institution’s goals.

Anthony Hambey has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and Management from Jacksonville State University. Anthony also has an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Snead State Junior College.

They are on a team with Virginia Gilbert Loftin - VP of Advancement & Communications, David Eberhardt - VP of Student Development, and Amy Bickers Abeyta - AVP of Communications. Anthony Hambey reports to Daniel Coleman, President.
