Jeff Hicks

Jeff Hicks is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both academia and clinical research. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at Birmingham-Southern College, Jeff instructs undergraduate students and mentors pre-med and chemistry students. Prior roles include Clinical Research Coordinator II at UAB Medicine, where responsibilities encompassed patient education and oversight of study protocols, as well as significant research positions at UAB Plastic Surgery and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Jeff holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, along with multiple degrees in Life Sciences Entrepreneurship, Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Psychology, showcasing a diverse educational background. Additionally, Jeff served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, demonstrating leadership skills and a commitment to service.
