Rick Turner is an accomplished academic and software engineer with extensive experience in the field of computer science, having served as the James T. Stephens Professor of Computer Science at Birmingham-Southern College since 1985, and currently holds the title of Emeritus. In this role, Rick Turner has taught a range of courses, including Systems Analysis, Database Management Systems, and Alternative Programming Languages, while also contributing to numerous college committees, such as the Information Technology Committee and the Promotion and Tenure Committee.
