Jerome Maheux

Jerome Maheux has over 15 years of work experience in the field of scientific research and diagnostics. Jerome is currently serving as the Associate Director, Scientific at Biron Health Group, where they have been working since 2019. Prior to this role, they were the Associate Laboratory Director, Genetic and Molecular Diagnostic at the same company from 2019 to 2021.

Before joining Biron Health Group, Jerome worked as the Scientific Director at BiogeniQ from 2016 to 2019. In this position, they played a key role in leading the scientific direction of the company.

Jerome's research experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on exploring the role of neuromodulation in neuronal synaptic plasticity. Jerome Maheux has a strong educational background in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and biochemistry. Prior to that, they earned their M.Sc. in Neurobiology from Université Laval, studying from 2005 to 2007. Jerome also holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Université Laval, which they completed from 2002 to 2005.

In addition to their academic degrees, Jerome Maheux has obtained certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2017, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt certification from Linovati. In 2016, they became a member of the Ordre des chimistes du Quebec and received certification from the institution.
