Massimo Fortunato

Massimo Fortunato is a seasoned professional in sustainable development and sustainability management with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Sustainable Development Manager at Birra Peroni, Massimo focuses on driving the company’s sustainable development strategy through collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams. Prior to this role, Massimo worked as a Sustainability Manager at Deloitte, providing strategic and technical assistance to international business groups and NGOs in integrating sustainability practices. Experience also includes serving as a Technical Advisor at the United Nations Development Programme, overseeing the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in El Salvador, along with roles in project management and citizen participation. Massimo holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and a Master of Higher Management Education in Integrated Quality, Environment, Energy, and Safety Management Systems from ISTUM.
