Ziah McKinney

Ziah McKinney is an experienced Childbirth Educator and Full Spectrum Doula, contributing to Evidence Based Birth® since January 2023 and Birth Advocacy Doula Training since May 2018. Ziah holds certifications from Birth Arts International, Birthing From Within, and Dancing for Birth. Additionally, Ziah is the Owner of the Tribal Bellydance Center of Atlanta, overseeing production and ensuring smooth execution of media content development. As the Director and Founder of Awalim Dance Company, Ziah promotes Middle Eastern dance in the Southeast US, integrating ethnic costuming and world music into performances. Ziah also served as Event Producer for TribalCon, the largest Tribal Belly Dance and Music festival east of the Mississippi, and managed Ballena Bay Pewter from 1990 to 1999. Ziah's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston, various dance and massage therapy studies, and multiple childbirth education credentials.
