Marco Deans

Marco Deans is a seasoned Rigging Foreman currently employed at Torus BGP since March 2023. With a career spanning several notable companies, including Aker Solutions and BIS Salamis, Inc., Marco has extensive experience in rigging operations, particularly in offshore environments. Responsibilities have included the decommissioning of the CNR Murchison Platform, installation of replacement Christmas Trees, and participation in major shutdown campaigns, such as the Conoco Philips Judy Platform project. Additionally, Marco's early career involved significant roles at Global Energy Group, Kvaerner, and as a self-employed Rigger/Erector, showcasing a diverse skill set in rigging and erecting services across various construction projects in the UK and Europe. Marco's educational background includes attendance at Carnoustie High School from 1973 to 1977.
