Kiza Magendane is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in facilitation, writing, and community engagement. As the founder of De Nieuwe Kamer and Progressief Café, Kiza promotes inclusive dialogue and sustainable values in the Netherlands. Kiza leads discussions as a gespreksleider and moderator at Kizason Connect, connecting diverse individuals for collaborative solutions. Additionally, Kiza serves as a Landecker Democracy Fellow with the Alfred Landecker Foundation and a fellow at BiSC Utrecht. Kiza writes essays and columns for NRC Handelsblad and has published the book "Met Nederland in therapy," exploring themes of citizenship. With a background in political science from the University of Amsterdam and the University of Antwerp, Kiza contributes to various organizations, including the Foundation Max van der Stoel, fostering social democracy and dialogue in international development.
