Kimberly Farfone Borts has extensive work experience in the nonprofit sector. Kimberly began their career as the Director of Development & Public Relations at Sea Island Habitat for Humanity in 2001, where they worked until 2007. In this role, they supported and worked with the organization and later became a board member.

In 2007, Kimberly joined Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community, a life care retirement community, as the Director of Charitable Giving and Communications. Kimberly'sresponsibilities included fundraising, public relations, social media, online content, branding, interior design, and strategic planning. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Mission and Communications at Bishop Gadsden, showcasing their passion for creating innovative and forward-thinking initiatives within the organization.

Kimberly Farfone Borts obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Government & Politics from George Mason University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Certification in Fundraising Management from The Fundraising School at Indiana University between 2005 and 2007. Additionally, they earned a Certificate in Business Travel Management from The Wharton School, completing their studies in 2001.
