Matthias Schneider is currently the Chief Digital Officer at Bistum Trier. Prior to this role, Matthias was involved in various positions related to digital humanities, research, and programming at different academic institutions and research centers. Matthias holds a Master of Arts degree in Geschichte/Politikwissenschaft from Universität Trier. Matthias also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the same university in Geschichte, Politikwissenschaft. Additionally, Matthias has completed programs at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Atlantische Akademie/Zentrum für Konfliktforschung der Universität Marburg, and Xiamen University.
