Shivam Agrawal

Shivam Agrawal is a Research Assistant at bit.bio since May 2023, focusing on iPSC-derived cell types for advanced regenerative cell therapy products and preparing pre-clinical data for clinical trial applications. Previously, Shivam served as a Visiting Scientist at the University of Essex from September 2021 to September 2023, where projects involved developing a liquid-biopsy biomarker for cancer diagnosis using bioinformatics tools. Additionally, from May 2022 to May 2023, Shivam worked as a Research Assistant at Plasticell Limited, developing novel therapies through gene editing and iPSC differentiation. Shivam's earlier role as a Medical Lab Technologist at DAM Health from November 2021 to May 2022 involved laboratory validations and RNA extraction, alongside helping to set up laboratory operations. Shivam holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Essex and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
