Vikram Palled has a comprehensive background in stem cell research and immunotherapy. Vikram started their career as a Research Assistant at Yuansheng Biotechnology Co Ltd. in 2018, where they worked on the maintenance and differentiation of human Embryonic Stem Cells. Vikram also participated in the production of differentiated MSC for pre-clinical trials.
In 2019, Vikram joined Syngene International Limited as a Senior Research Associate. During their time there, they specialized in reprogramming immune cells to generate induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) and manipulating them for immuno-therapy projects. Vikram optimized protocols and drafted Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for iPSC maintenance and handling. Additionally, they characterized immune cell-derived iPSCs and differentiated them back into T and NK cell lineages. Vikram also worked on CAR-iPSC, CAR-T, and CRISPR/Cas9 modified iPSC platforms for proof of concept studies.
In 2022, Vikram transitioned to CytoMed Therapeutics Pte Ltd as a Research Scientist before moving to their current role as a Scientist in the iPSC platform at bit.bio.
Vikram Palled completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from SB Arts and KCP Science College, Vijayapura, from 2016 to 2018. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Karnataka University, Dharwad.
