Marcus Cooper

Marcus Cooper is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at BITCO Insurance Companies since April 2025. Prior to this role, Marcus held significant leadership positions at Everest Insurance® as Head of Distribution for North America and at Liberty Mutual Insurance as Division Vice President for the Midwest Region. With a strong background in strategic business planning, P&L accountability, and business development, Marcus has also led underwriting practices at Zurich North America and managed large teams in various regional and national roles. Marcus holds a BA in History from Texas State University and has furthered expertise through an education at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
