Marius Leordeanu

Marius Leordeanu is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Robotics. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at NORCE Norwegian Research Centre and Bitdefender, Marius has extensive experience in scientific research since 2010, including a Senior Researcher role at the Institute of Mathematics "Simion Stoilow" of the Romanian Academy and a consultancy position at Arnia Software until 2023. As a Full Professor at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest since 2015, Marius has played a pivotal role in introducing Computer Vision and Robotics graduate courses and coordinating a research group in related fields. Marius holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hunter College.
