Zachary Figueroa is the Chief Compliance Officer at bitFlyer Group. Zachary has also worked as a Research Associate at Berns Weiss LLP, a Research Fellow at the Catholic University of America, and a Certified Student Attorney at Columbus Community Legal Services.

Zachary Figueroa began their career as a Research Fellow at the Catholic University of America, where they collaborated with the Hebrew University of Tel Aviv, Professor Marshall J. Breger, and Professor Leonard Hammer. Zachary then became a Certified Student Attorney at Columbus Community Legal Services before joining Berns Weiss LLP as a Research Associate. In their role as a Research Associate, Zachary focused on contract writing and editing for state and federal blockchain/cryptocurrency regulation in the USA and internationally. Zachary also guest lectured and collaborated with BreadCoin, a cryptocurrency charity, on the emerging market of charity-based applications of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.

Most recently, Zachary Figueroa has taken on the role of Chief Compliance Officer at bitFlyer Group. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Zachary Figueroa has a Doctor of Law (JD) and Masters of Science in Business Analysis (MSBA) from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Marketing from Biola University.
