Jahnavi Nirmal

Jahnavi Nirmal is a skilled digital artist and technologist, currently serving as a New Media Art Intern at bitforms gallery since September 2022, where responsibilities include curating and installing immersive exhibits while researching immersive art in wellness. Concurrently, Jahnavi works as a Technical Artist Assistant for both Eva Davidova, focusing on Oculus Rift VR technology, and LaJuné McMillian, prototyping concepts in physical and digital design using tools like TouchDesigner and Unreal Engine. Previous experience includes a role as a Creative Technologist at the Consortium for Research & Robotics, where innovative solutions for augmented reality projects were developed, and a position as Digital Designer & Technician at Pratt Institute, emphasizing the creation of interactive collateral for events. Jahnavi holds a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor's of Design in Graphic Design from MIT Institute of Design.
