Michael McShinsky

Michael McShinsky has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software engineering and development. Michael currently works as a Software Engineer at BitGo since February 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Full Stack Web Development Instructor at edX from August 2019. In this role, they achieved high graduation rates and received above-average scores from students. Michael also collaborated on new content and provided critical feedback on test pilot programs.

From October 2018 to March 2022, Michael worked as a Frontend Architect and Senior Fullstack Engineer at REDLIST, where they contributed to the development of frontend architecture. At Medici Ventures, from May 2018 to October 2018, they served as a Senior Frontend Developer, working with multiple teams and independent companies to create and launch cryptocurrency apps and websites.

Prior to that, Michael worked as a Senior Front-end Developer at EliteWorks from March 2017 to May 2018, where they developed core ecommerce, sales, and CMS/CRM software. At Blue Mountain Media (a.k.a. Graystone Media & Marketecture) from March 2013 to March 2017, they served as a Front-end Developer and Operations Manager. In this role, they improved fulfillment efficiency, managed operations, and implemented enhancements to user experience and frontend architecture.

Before transitioning to software engineering roles, Michael worked as a Proctor/Examiner at Utah Valley University from August 2012 to March 2013. Michael administered tests, provided customer service, and enforced test policies and information security protocols.

Michael McShinsky attended Brigham Young University from 2010 to 2012, where they focused on Business and Accounting. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Integrated Studies (BIS) in Information Systems at Utah Valley University from 2013 to 2016.
