Uday Shanmugam

Uday Shanmugam has extensive work experience in the field of security and engineering. Uday is currently employed as an Application Security Engineer at BitGo since 2022. Prior to this, Uday worked at McD Tech Labs (acquired by IBM) as a Senior Manager, Security, Conversational AI from 2020 to 2022. Uday also held the position of Chief Architect & Security Officer at Narvar from 2014 to 2020, where they played a crucial role in the company's growth from its seed stage to series C funding. Uday's previous roles include Director of Engineering at LongJump (acquired by Software AG) from 2005 to 2014, Senior Software Engineer at Avaya Inc from 2001 to 2005, Engineering Manager at Internet Devices (acquired by Alcatel USA) from 1998 to 2001, and Software Engineer at iFlex solutions (acquired by Oracle) from 1993 to 1998.

Uday Shanmugam has an MBA in Systems and Finance from Bharathidasan Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering at Pondicherry Engineering College.
