Thelma Okonwa

Thelma Okonwa has a diverse work experience. Thelma started their career at MultiChoice Group in 2018 as a Customer Service Representative, where they made outbound calls to Gotv and Dstv subscribers. In the same year, they joined RADP (Ringier Africa Digital Publishing) as a Social Media Manager where they collaborated with category team members in managing social media campaigns and executing day-to-day activities in line with KPIs to achieve the brand goals and objectives. In 2019, they were hired by Transsion as a Social Media/ Content Acquisition Executive, where they created fun, relatable and shareable content, tracked viral trends and stories on social media and created content around those trends. In 2020, they joined BrandestNG as a Social Media Manager. In 2021, they were hired by Changera as a Social Media Manager and Bitmama as a Marketing Lead and Social Media Manager. Finally, they were hired by NIS (Nigeria Innovation Week 2022) as a Social Media Marketing Specialist.

Thelma Okonwa attended the University of Benin from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a B.A in Mass Communication, with a field of study in Mass Communication/Media Studies.
