Tanguy Biron

Tanguy Biron has extensive experience in risk management and product control within the financial industry. Tanguy is currently serving as the Vice President of Market Risk & Product Control at BitMEX, where they are responsible for building the risk and P&L framework and establishing monitoring policies for the Group. Prior to this, Tanguy worked at Natixis as the VP of Traded Risk Monitoring Global Markets APAC, overseeing risk monitoring, analysis, and reporting. Tanguy also has experience in Foreign Exchange and Commodities at HSBC, where they managed P&L on various markets and implemented process optimization projects. Tanguy's educational background includes an academic semester abroad at Poznan University of Technology.

Tanguy Biron completed their education with a Master's degree in Financial Markets and Computer Science from IMT Atlantique between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, they studied at Lycée du Parc from 2006 to 2009, where they pursued a Preparatory Class program in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Science (PCSI/PSI*).
