Rares Hutanu

Rares Hutanu has a strong background in engineering and development. Rares started their career at ZegaSoftware in 2012 as a Web Developer. In 2014, they joined Assign Group as a Full Stack Developer, where they stayed until 2017. Since 2017, Rares has been working at Bitpanda, initially as a Lead Broker Backend and then as the Head of Development. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering at Bitpanda.

Rares Hutanu completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Informatics from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov in 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same university, which they obtained in 2014. During this time, from 2013 to 2014, Rares also attended Fachhochschule Technikum Wien, where they pursued a Master's degree in Internettechnologien.

In November 2018, Rares Hutanu earned the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance.
