Nivya Sharma

Nivya Sharma is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in research and education within the biological sciences and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as a Penguin Wellness Monitor at the New England Aquarium and a Principal Research Associate at TScan Therapeutics, Nivya has held multiple roles including Senior Research Associate and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia State University. Additionally, Nivya leads the BITSAA PROPEL team and has been actively involved as a volunteer for various BITSian events. Previous experiences include internships at Goldman Sachs and Visit Health, a winter fellowship at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, and mentorship roles at Dweebs Global. Nivya holds a Master of Science in Biology from Georgia State University, a Master’s in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
