Hirnav Patel

Hirnav Patel is currently the VP of Managed Services at Bitscape. Prior to this, they were the Manager IT at Bitscape Infotech Pvt. Ltd. from June 2015 to October 2016. Before that, they were the Executive Information and Communication Technology at Veeda Clinical Research from July 2007 to February 2011 where they were responsible for analyzing all aspects of Win XP Professional deployment for 500 workstations nationwide to ensure a smooth migration. Hirnav also created desktop standardization and dashboards and provided ad-hoc reports using AdventNet MangeEngine ServiceDesk Plus. Additionally, they documented workflows and executed comprehensive training plans to staff that more than doubled AdventNet ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus access (from 45% to 100%) and usage (from 35% to 80%).

At Veeda Clinical Research, Hirnav also managed the Windows 2003 backend infrastructure IQ/OQ remediation effort for Ahmedabad & UK sites. Hirnav reviewed documentation for validity/completeness, authored IQ/OQ summaries with QA and assisted in overall project documentation. Hirnav also installed and configured backup processes for all global locations including India and implemented Symantec Backup Exec System recovery for all locations to meet SLAs. Furthermore, they documented risk assessments of ICT for all locations and prepared disaster recovery plans in accordance with QA departmental guidelines. Finally, they were responsible for the new ClinOne implementation of Volunteer Management System, Recruitment, Study Setup, execution, Integrated Sample & Laboratory Management, Report Generation system. Hirnav designed and launched “preload” training clinics, optimized training documentation prior to go-live and designed custom modifications to accommodate special needs.

Hirnav Patel has a post-graduate degree in Information Technology from Westminster College, a bachelor's degree in accountancy from Gujarat University, and a Certificate in Computing from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
