Alberto G. Toribio

Alberto G. Toribio has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Alberto has worked as an R&D Principal Engineer at Bitso since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the CTO at POAP Studio, a popular NFT protocol, for 3 months in 2023. Alberto also worked as a Product Owner at Crypto Plaza from 2021 to 2023, where they led the technology and strategy for the Brand Collections product. Before Crypto Plaza, they were a Technical Product Manager at Caixabank (Bankia) from 2017 to 2021, where they focused on the Blockchain platform for tokenization and digital money. Alberto also founded and led a consulting Blockchain company, serving as the Blockchain CTO at Barrabes Group from 2015 to 2017. In 2013, they co-founded the startup Coinffeine and served as its CEO until 2015, securing investment agreements with venture capital firms during that time. Alberto's work also includes roles as a BigData Architect at StratioBD and a BigData Software Developer at Paradigma Digital, where they worked on various projects and gained experience with international clients. Alberto began their career as a Software Developer, working on projects for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and the Supreme Court of Spain.

Alberto G. Toribio completed the Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies program at HarvardX in 2021. Alberto also holds a Corda Certified Developer certification from R3, obtained in 2019.
