Isidoro García Urquieta has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Isidoro currently holds the position of Data Science Vice President at Bitso since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Data Science at Bitso from August 2020 to July 2021.

Urquieta also has teaching experience at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Urquieta started their career as an Economist at Banco de México and later worked as a Transfer Pricing Assessor at Salles Sainz - Grant Thornton, S.C.

Throughout their career, Urquieta has demonstrated their expertise in data science, economics, and teaching, with a strong focus on topics such as regression, classification, causal inference, and macroeconomic impact evaluation.

Isidoro García Urquieta holds a Master of Public Policy degree in Data Science from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Isidoro also obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Additionally, they completed a diploma in Restricted Economic Time Series Forecasting, specializing in Econometrics, at the same institution.
