Shan was an iOS developer at Ninesol Technologies from October 2014 to October 2015. Shan is currently a Tech Lead at BitSol Technologies.

Shan has a Master of Science in computer science from Quaid-i-Azam University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
