Zahid

Zahid is the current Chief Technical Officer at BitSol Technologies. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at eMumba from January 2013 to March 2015. At eMumba, they worked on different aspects of the Cricout Product, specifically on the Android app, web app, mobile web, Google Analytics, and Google Ads.

Some of their notable accomplishments include working on the Cricout web application (which was backend in Java [J2EE], Spring, Hibernate, JPA, MySQL, Memcached; and frontend in HTML, Javascript, CSS, jQuery, and Handlebars), as well as the Cricout Android app. The Android app was a multi-threaded app that provided users ball-by-ball commentary on their device, and also sent push notifications to the user about match start/result. Zahid was also responsible for incorporating Google AdMob, Facebook Native Ads and Analytics, as well as integrating the Facebook library to share comments among friends.

In addition to their work on the Cricout product, Zahid also worked on the Cricout Fantasy League – a statistical game in which players compete against each other by managing groups of real players or position units selected from tournament teams. For this project, they worked on the backend in Java (J2EE), Spring, Spring Data, JPA, and Mongodb; and frontend in HTML, Javascript, CSS

Zahid has a Masters in Computer Science from Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad.

Zahid reports to Javeed, CEO. Usman - Backend Developer, Shan - Tech Lead report to Zahid. Zahid works with Rizwan - COO, Numan Mirza - Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
