Alexey Zilber

Alexey Zilber has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Alexey is currently working as a Cloud Operations Engineer at Bitwarden since August 2022. Previously, they worked as a Consultant at ConsulTent Pte. Ltd., where they led the migration of a major Colo deployment to a Serverless AWS deployment. Alexey also worked as a Chief Server Architect at SFG Media Group, where they re-architected their environment, and as a Consultant at ConsulTent Ltd., where they conducted cross cloud DevOps using Terraform and Packer on Azure and AWS.

Prior to that, Alexey worked as an Integration Engineer at RightScale, where they worked with major clients in the Asia Pacific region and built custom ServerTemplates. Alexey also served as the Chief Systems Architect at K-Factor Media, LLC, overseeing the migration of their server environment to Amazon EC2 managed by Rightscale.

In addition, they worked as a System Administrator at YellowJacket Software, Inc., where they built an in-house mini-data center and set up various servers. Alexey also held the position of Systems Architect at InterContinental Exchange, Inc., where they successfully migrated their trading platform to a fully clustered system.

Earlier in their career, Alexey served as a Senior Linux Engineer & Technical Manager at Grey Global Group, where they managed the Grey Financial Management System. Alexey also worked as a Systems Architect & Project Leader at CMS Digital, where they led in-house development and managed a team of developers.

Alexey Zilber attended Brooklyn College from 1994 to 1996, where they studied computers. In addition, they obtained a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification from Redhat in April 2001.
