Abs Bahour

Abs Bahour is an experienced engineer with a strong background in product development and design. They have worked in various companies, including BiVACOR Inc as a Senior System Engineer V, where they are currently employed. Prior to this, they worked at tmCMF as a Lead Product Development Engineer, designing craniofacial maxillary solutions for various regions. They also served as a Lead Product Development Consultant at Medivis, implementing design control processes and creating testing plans. Before that, they were a Senior Product Development Engineer at MicroPort Orthopedics, where they evaluated design feasibility and provided support to Clinical and Regulatory Affairs. They started their career at Smith & Nephew as a Product Development Engineer, designing patient-specific cutting guides and managing regions worldwide. Abs Bahour also has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Memphis, teaching and evaluating student assessments, and as a Contract Product Design Engineer at CladNetwork, developing designs and manufacturing protocols. They began their career as a Product Development Engineer at SparkFlow, leading the design and development of a medical device.

Abs Bahour has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering from both The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and The University of Memphis. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The University of Memphis. Their education journey began at Hillwood High School, where they focused on Health & Sciences.
