Rich Allen

Rich Allen has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Rich started their career at Oceana as a Web Developer in 2009 and worked there until 2011. Rich then joined REI Systems as a Software Engineer from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Taoti Creative Web Design, Marketing & App Development as a Senior Architect, System Admin, and Development Team Leader, responsible for the technical design and build of projects. Rich worked at Taoti Creative until 2016. From 2016 to present, Rich has been at Bixal, initially serving as a Technology Lead and Continuous Integration Engineer, and then as the Director of Technology. At Bixal, they manage technology and the people supporting it, ensuring projects are secure, accessible, align with organizational goals, and are user-friendly. Rich also helps create and shape technology solutions for the Federal government and the people of the United States.

Rich Allen graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2019, Certified Scrum Master and Scrum Certified Developer from Scrum Alliance in September 2017, and Security + from CompTIA in July 2017.
