Artem Kobrin

Artem Kobrin is a privacy legislative compliance consultant at CIBC since May 2023 and serves as the Chapter Chair at OneTrust PrivacyConnect since August 2020. Previously, Artem held the position of Senior Privacy Specialist at PrivatBank, focusing on data protection compliance for over 20 million data subjects in Ukraine. Artem has contributed to the Privacy HUB, writing articles on privacy and data protection for various media outlets. As the founder and CEO of FuturLex, along with roles as a legal advisor at MidasCaps, FilmPilot, and TestPilot OÜ, Artem emphasizes legal and business consultations for startups. Educational qualifications include an LL.M. in Information Technology Law from the University of Tartu and multiple LL.M. degrees in legal regulation of public administration and human rights from Mykolas Romeris University and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, complemented by a Bachelor of Laws in Financial law.
