Fernanda Furuya

Fernanda Furuya is a Landscape Architect at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group since February 2022, previously working as a Landscape Design Assistant. Prior experience includes an internship at SBGA I BLENGINI GHIRARDELLI, where Fernanda contributed to commercial, residential, and urban design projects. Prior to that, an internship at Architekturbüro Reinberg ZT GmbH was completed, where Fernanda was among forty selected students for a work grant from Politecnico di Milano, focusing on eco-friendly architecture and urban planning. Additionally, Fernanda served as an Architect at RAF Arquitetura from May 2016 to July 2019, developing various project types. Fernanda holds a Master of Architecture in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor of Architecture from Estácio, earned between 2012 and 2017. Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, and the Adobe Creative Suite, Fernanda combines technical expertise with a strong educational foundation in architecture and urban design.
