Gary Polk

Gary Polk is a visiting assistant professor at Pratt Institute School of Architecture since August 2024 and a designer at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group since July 2018. Previous experience includes roles as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from January 2016 to June 2018, and designer positions at UNStudio and Ibanez Kim Studio in 2016. Additionally, Gary Polk interned at Richard Meier & Partners in 2015 and Fujikawa Johnson Gobel Architects, Inc. from 2012 to 2014, starting the career as a summer design intern at Baranski Hammer, Moretta & Sheehy Architects & Planners in 2011. Gary Polk holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania (2014-2017) and a Bachelor's of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois Chicago (2008-2012), with further studies at Universität der Künste Berlin in 2011.
