Lisa Lochner

President, Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital at BJC HealthCare

As president of Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, Lisa Lochner leads a 35-bed designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health care to residents in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties in Missouri.

The hospital has enhanced and expanded the health care services available to the greater Sullivan community. Between 2003 and 2012, Missouri Baptist Sullivan was completely rebuilt with a state-of-the-art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multiroom surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center. A 22,500 square-foot medical office building provides offices for primary care physicians as well as space for a variety of visiting medical and surgical specialists from the St. Louis area.

Lochner joined Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital in 1994 and held various leadership roles, including vice president of operations, before she became president in 2021. During that time she oversaw the construction projects on the campus and in 2008 started the Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital foundation. Lochner developed partnerships between the hospital and three schools in the area, and also brought in new hospital service lines to benefit the community.

With a deep connection to the community, Lochner served on the Sullivan School Board for three terms, on the Montessori Board for several years, and on the Sullivan Athletic Board for nine years.

Lochner holds a master’s degree in business administration from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in consumer and family studies from Missouri State University.

She lives in Sullivan with her husband and has three adult children.
