Lars Nissen has extensive experience in engineering, primarily focused on digital design and FPGA development. Since 2001, Lars Nissen has worked as a development engineer at B-K Medical, specializing in FPGA design using VHDL and designing digital PCBs for ultrasound applications. Previously, Lars Nissen served as a formand at 1. Birkerød Gruppe from 2006 to 2012 and worked as a development engineer at Olicom, where tasks included designing digital boards for networking and utilizing RISC processors, fast memory, ASIC, and FPGA technologies. Other positions include tenure as a development engineer at Bruel & Kjaer, where digital board design with processors and memory was key, as well as earlier roles at CR International. Lars Nissen holds an engineering degree from Ingeniørhøjskolen i Århus, obtained between 1979 and 1982.
