Jaysen Long

Jaysen Long is a graduate from UC Davis in 1993 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Jaysen started his engineering career working on projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for an environmental engineering and construction firm located in Richmond, California. While the extensive fieldwork provided a good and practical introduction to the construction world, he knew that design was what he wanted to do and decided to seek alternative employment.

In January of 1997, Jaysen accepted an offer for a Staff Engineer position with BKF Engineers in their Walnut Creek office, eventually becoming a Project Manager on a number of Bay Area projects in the education, healthcare, commercial, residential, civic, and transportation market sectors.
