Kyle Rand

Kyle Rand is a Developer at Black Airplane. Kyle was previously a Full Stack Engineer / DevOps at Serv Marketing from January 2019 to October 2020. There, they deployed and maintained EC2 instances, Lambda and ELB's for serving scalable and highly available web products. Kyle also managed VPC networking, certificates, identities and data to ensure reliability, security and availability of necessary resources. Prior to that, they were an Information Technology Analyst at Northside Hospital from October 2018 to January 2019. There, they were responsible for Active Directory Support for End User unlocks, password resets, disabling computer & user accounts, placing global branch computers in the proper OU, adding users in the proper Groups, remove old computers from AD, Bitlocker password recovery. Kyle was also part of the SCCM Integration project – Installation of the client manually and via power shell scripts, investigate if SCCM properly installed and reporting to the SCCM server, troubleshooting failed installations.

Kyle Rand has a Bachelor's from Full Sail University in digital cinematography, an Associate of Science from Georgia Perimeter College in computer science, and a high school diploma from Martin Luther King- Jr. High School. Kyle also has certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

Kyle Rand reports to Emmett Deen, Engineering Manager. They are on a team with Kody Wright - Developer, Ryan Fortier - Developer, and Ben Richards - Developer.
