Dennis Kemperman

Dennis Kemperman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Dennis started their career at Umicore as an Intern RD & T for a period of six months. Following this, they joined Van Gansewinkel where they held various trainee positions, including Assistant branch manager, Business Analyst, and Metals Manager MCI. In 2013, Dennis joined Nyrstar as a Technologist, Chemical Process Engineer, and Metallurgist, and remained in this position until 2016. Dennis then took on the role of Superintendent Continuous Improvement (acting) from October 2020 to January 2021 before returning to their previous position as a Technologist, Chemical Process Engineer, and Metallurgist. At Nyrstar, they were involved in process development and optimization, R&D, project management, and process safety. Dennis also held additional responsibilities such as being a member of Nyrstar's works council, financial economic committee, and secretary of the social governance committee. Their other experiences include working with a Biological waste water treatment plant and possessing certifications in TMS NORM, VCA-VOL, and EHBO.

Dennis Kemperman pursued their education chronologically, starting in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Sciences from Utrecht University. Following this, they continued their education at Utrecht University, completing a Master of Science degree in Geochemistry from 2006 to 2009. Lastly, from 2007 to 2010, Dennis attended Delft University of Technology to obtain a second Master of Science degree in Resource Engineering.
