Doan Chau

Doan Chau has extensive work experience in the technology and defense sectors. They currently hold the position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) / EVP at Black Bear Technology Solutions, LLC since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Business Area Vice President at GDIT - Enterprise IT & Managed Services / Army Sector / Defense Division from April 2018 to August 2022. Chau also worked as a Program Director at CSRA from July 2017 to April 2018.

From 2007 to 2017, Chau held multiple roles at NES Associates, LLC, including Program Director from March 2015 to June 2017, Deputy Director of Telecomm & Network Engineering from May 2012 to February 2015, and Program Manager/Network Engineering from November 2007 to February 2015.

Prior to NES Associates, LLC, Chau worked as a Network Engineering Manager (Contractor) at the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) from June 1999 to August 2015. They also briefly served as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton in July 2007.

Chau's earlier career includes roles at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions as a Network Engineering Manager and TLA Associates as a Network Engineer. These positions were held from 2005 to 2007 and from 1999 to 2005, respectively.

Doan Chau attended Broad Run High School, where they completed their secondary education in the year 1995. Following this, they enrolled at George Mason University - School of Business, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. They completed their undergraduate education at this institution between the years 1995 and 2000.
