Andrew Perry

Andrew Perry has a long and varied work experience. Andrew started their career in 2009 as an Instructor at Ascension Rock Climbing, where they were responsible for training new employees, maintaining safety, and enforcing the rules and regulations of the gym. In 2010, they worked as a Retail Associate at Shenanigan's Toy Inc. In 2014, they worked as a Website Developer and Social Media Manager at Dallas Christopher Signature Salon and as an Enterprise Architecture Intern at NCR Corporation, where they optimized business processes and workflows, preventing over $5 million in misallocated funds. In 2017, they worked as a Software Developer Intern at Capital One and a Virtual Reality Developer at The Home Depot. At Capital One, they worked on a Mac Application and a dashboard project from start to finish. At The Home Depot, they used the Unity Game Engine, C# Programming, Linear Algebra, and the HTC Vive. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Capital One, where they were part of the Technology Development Program, working in multiple teams while developing their technology skills. Andrew worked on an optimization project and a full-stack project that transfers money between multiple accounts. In 2021, they began working as a Technology Consultant at Black Cape.

Andrew Perry is currently enrolled in the Zero To Mastery Academy, where they are studying Computer Science. From 2020 to 2022, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science. From 2013 to 2017, they attended the same school and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a Minor in Industrial Design. Prior to that, they attended McIntosh High School from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: Cybersecurity and Mobility from Coursera in May 2018, and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in November 2022.
