Barbara Machado

Barbara Machado has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer and Data Analyst at Stone. During their time there, they conceptualized and coded a BI web application to automate the tracking of KPIs, and developed performance management models to calculate KPIs and track sales performance. In 2020, they were an Associate Technical Product Manager at SoftBank Group Corp., where they launched a Computer Vision-based web app to automate comics creation with 100+ beta users. Barbara also Co-Founded DUPLA in 2021 and was a Product Manager at Niba Marketplace in the same year. At Niba Marketplace, they built an MVP for rental and resale of second-hand clothes and equipment in Brazil, and executed 3 growth hacking strategies and A/B tests. Currently, Barbara is an Associate Technical Product Manager at Black Crow AI.

Barbara Machado has an extensive educational background. Barbara completed their High School Diploma in 2015 from Colégio Cenecista Nossa Senhora de Fatima, where they studied Ensino Médio. Barbara then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are enrolled in Minerva University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Machado has obtained several certifications. These include an Introduction to Financial Accounting by University of Pennsylvania on Coursera in 2019, Colombia Leadership Bootcamp Participant from Latin American Leadership Academy in 2017, Global Youth Forum Delegate & Many Language One World 2017 Winner (ELS Educational Services) from United Nations Academic Impact in 2017, Palestra Finanças Pessoais from IEG - Instituto de Engenharia de Gestão in 2017, Trilha 2016 from Fundação Estudar in 2016, LabX Belo Horizonte - 2016 from Fundação Estudar in 2016, and an EFSET Quick English Check - Score: Advanced / Proficient (CEFR C1/C2) from EF Education First.
