Joel Parkinson, MBA, currently serves as Engineering Manager and Mechanical Engineering Lead at Black Diamond Advanced Technology (BDATech) since May 2018, previously holding the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at the same company from March 2009 to March 2015. Prior experience includes roles as Staff Mechanical Engineer at Synaptics, where Joel was involved in the mechanical design and fabrication of sensor devices, and as Sr. Digital Design Engineer at White Electronic Designs, providing support throughout product lifecycles. Joel began a career in engineering as a Design Engineer at Interface Data Systems, specializing in custom input devices. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration & Technology Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.
